Most of my jewelry is silver made with craft techniques. First they are all just visions and they become pieces of arts only during the process. These one-off jewels are interactions of the behaviour of the material, the moment and the experimentation and are the result of their sensitive balance.
I use different interesting and unique antique silver objects (a pocket watch, a powder box, a cigarette case or a buckle from a lady’s bag) that lost their functions for some reason. I fall in love with only normally a fragment of them and then I shape it according to my own vision, tailoring it according to the contemporary design normas. This twisted simplicity basically is how tradition and modernity, past and present meets
